GUS* Design Group only uses pure aniline dyed leather, offering our customers a soft, supple and natural product that will become richer as the years pass.
These top grain leathers are soaked in transparent, non-toxic aniline dye and have no subsequent pigmented finish coats applied. The aniline dye penetrates the hide with color, while allowing the natural grain to show through. Because we use a natural product, every piece of GUS* leather furniture possesses individual characteristics shaped by nature - such as natural color variations and markings.
The GUS* look' is characterized by top stitching, which is the distinctive seaming used on our ottomans, headboards and leather chairs. The seams create an architectural grid on our furniture pieces without the use of buttons
